We offer psychotherapy, counselling, and consultation services that support emotional well-being, personal growth, and meaningful relationships. Therapy is at the heart of what we do, complemented by professional training and community education.

Individual Psychotherapy
and Counselling

One-on-one sessions designed to support emotional resilience, self-awareness, and effective coping strategies. We work collaboratively with clients to navigate anxiety, stress, ADHD, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, and other mental health concerns through customized, evidence-informed care.

Couples Psychotherapy
and Counselling

Couples sessions are designed to strengthen connection, improve communication, and support healthy conflict resolution. We work with couples navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting stress, and trust repair.

Family Psychotherapy
and Counselling

Family sessions support improved communication, cooperation, and emotional connection across the family system. We help families manage change, neurodiversity, behaviour challenges, and emotional well-being.

Parent Consultation

Parent consultation supports caregivers in understanding behaviour, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing practical, developmentally informed strategies at home and school. Sessions focus on guidance, problem-solving, and capacity-building, and may occur with or without the child present.

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

Finding Solutions offers limited ABA support for families, focused on behaviour understanding, skill development, and caregiver coaching. ABA services are provided on a short-term, consultative basis and are designed to complement psychotherapy, parent consultation, and developmental goals where appropriate.

Professional Development
& Training

We provide engaging, evidence-informed workshops for educators, caregivers, and professionals. Our sessions are practical, interactive, and grounded in current best practices in mental health and neurodiversity.

Topics may include:

  • Emotional regulation

  • Trauma-informed practices

  • Inclusive education and communication

  • Supporting neurodivergent learners

  • Strengths-based behaviour strategies

Community Consultation

We collaborate with schools, childcare centres, and organizations to offer consultation and customized support in creating inclusive, emotionally safe environments for children, youth, and families.

Our training and consultation services align with our therapeutic values: compassion, neurodiversity-affirming practice, and resilience-building.

While most sessions are conducted virtually or by phone, in-person sessions may be available in limited circumstances at the discretion of the therapist. These may include options such as walk-and-talk therapy, where clinically appropriate. Please reach out to learn more.

If you are unsure whether your concerns are significant enough for therapy, we are here to help. We support you whether you are managing everyday stress or coping with profound emotional pain.

Finding Solutions is committed to inclusive and accessible services. If you require accommodations, please let us know — we are happy to support your needs.

Through evidence-based approaches and a supportive therapeutic relationship, clients can develop healthier coping strategies, gain insight, and work towards meaningful change.

  • Many extended health benefits plans cover services provided by Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying). We encourage clients to check their individual plans to confirm coverage details, including whether a referral is required and which regulated professionals are eligible.

Some families may be eligible to use Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funding for ABA services; however, coverage and eligibility vary.
