Nick Taglione, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MACP

Grief & Bereavement Therapist | Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Nick Taglione is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and an associate therapist working in affiliation with Finding Solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and specializes in grief therapy, grief counselling, and bereavement counselling. He supports individuals navigating loss, anticipatory grief, complicated grief, prolonged grief, and the emotional adjustment that can follow the death of a loved one, illness, caregiving, relationship changes, or major life transitions.

Nick’s approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. His work is informed by attachment-based therapy, meaning-making, existential therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), psychodynamic therapy, and strengths-based approaches. He creates space for clients to process grief at their own pace while also helping them explore identity, purpose, values, and what moving forward can look like after loss.

Nick is especially mindful of the emotional weight carried by caregivers, as well as experiences of complex grief and disenfranchised grief that may not always be fully recognized or understood by others. He helps clients identify what remains within their control, recognize personal strengths, and find small, meaningful steps when they feel stuck.

Nick aims to create a safe, empathetic, nonjudgmental, and steady therapeutic space where clients do not feel rushed in their grief and do not have to figure out what comes next alone.

If you’re considering therapy and would like to explore support that feels compassionate and meaningful, we invite you to book a free consultation. This is a chance to talk through your concerns, ask questions, and see whether working with Nick feels like the right fit.
